Yin and Yang

I was doing a write-up for my long case presentation..and then I realized, last year, while I was happily smiling with people singing "Happy Birthday" around me, a cake with candles lit, closing my eyes and secretly making a wish..someone, in another part of the world was crying and grieving; given a prognosis of 9 months to live.

I feel silly to have been so happy on my birthday now. I feel sorry for what have happened to him.

I hope he is doing fine.
