Let's drink to this; to my mum's uterus; "To your mum's uterus!!"

It has been a week since my birthday. Thank you all for the wishes. And I should probably say this directly to my mum..all I wanna say is, thank you for giving birth to me, I know, seriously I KNOW,  how hard and painful it was, to give birth but you love me anyways. Through my O&G rotation I did this year, I came to know that having me inside your womb for nine months was not all that fun, was it. I made you become anaemic, tired, feels sick in the morning, give you back ache, mood swings, made you go to the toilet 700 times a day..that's hell, seriously. Then when baby-me decided to come out...I got your uterus to turn its back on you. Uterus is such, but without it, I won't even be here, typing this birthday speech on my 6-year old laptop. I'm sorry and I love you. So much. Just to type a mere thank you here would not do you any justice. But thank you.

 It has been my what, 9th? birthday away from home and family, since high school. It does get easier and easier each year. Anyhow, over here, this is my family. Thank you for making the day meaningful. I'll remember this, and definitely miss this one day. Thank you.
